Skin is the body’s largest organ serving several important purposes. The two top layers of your skin produce elastin and collagen Types I and III as well as hyaluronic acid which helps the skin retain water, elasticity and firmness (Borumand & Sibilla, 2014; Li, Song, Zhang, & Zhang, 2017).
